Niaouli Essential Oil (🔬Melaeuca Quinquenervia)
Niaouli is a small tree with papery bark. The oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of this species.
Niaouli is fresh and camphoraceous, and being antiseptic and healing, it is useful for boils and cuts. It is also well-suited to skin care applications on account of it being non-irritant.
Its expectorant properties (help clear phlegm or mucus from respiratory tract or airways) make it well indicated for respiratory tract infections.
